Thank You Card with Stenciling, Stamping and Heat Embossing

Hi guys,
a quick post to share a card I made for the current CAS Mix Up Card Challenge. The challenge is closing soon so I though I better hurry up getting this posted! I used a large flower stencil by sponging inks and stamping through it. I then added more sponging to the card base + went a bit crazy adding white dots with gel pen... There's quite many of them. :) This was originally going to be a one layer but after messing up my sentiment straight to the card base I ended up adding a strip of dark red card with a heat embossed sentiment. I actually like this look better than the one layer look I created first so I'm happy I made the boo boo! Have a good weekend everyone and thanks for popping by. Oh and Kiitos is Finnish for Thank You. :)

  1. You are on a roll! This is again a beautiful card! Love the scribbling on the petals!

  2. This is awesome Nonni!! LOVE our stenciled flower ... and stamping through it is so creative. Great colours and design. And thank goodness for boo-boo's ... your sentiment banner looks awesome. In my humble opinion, I would still consider this one layer. Great job! And thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up! xx

  3. wow that flower with the rest is amazing and I like all the white dots and the soft sponging around the flower. Looks like your creativity is blooming!

  4. This is fantastic! The stamp and color through the stencil created such a neat look!
